TriStateForRent.com :: TriStateForRent Rules :: Landlords :: Posting Pictures Author Topic: Posting Pictures (Read 315 times) Admin Administrator member is offline Joined: Mar 2007 Gender: Male Posts: 10 Karma: 1 Posting Pictures « Thread Started on Mar 17, 2007, 6:44pm » Welcome to the how to portion of the TriStateForRent.com this is how to post a image on here if you have something for sale and have a image saved on your computer you can post the image along with a description of the item on here very easily, so here is how it is done: First off you will notice I added a Photobucket link at the top of this forum, I did this for a reason because Photobucket works very well with these typeboard, and they also work well with ebay and other image related sites as well. 1st thing you need to do is click on the photobucket image above. 2nd if you have not registered with them, register with them and get some image hosting space, its free and you get alot of space best deal I have found on the web yet. 3rd once you get access to your photobucket image storing space by logging in through the password they send you will need to create a file to hold your images 4th once you crate a file to hold your images you can click and go into that file and then you can select how many images you want to upload to the photobucket image server. If you have just one image you want to upload there is no need for this step, but if you have multiple images you want to upload then just select the number you want to upload then it will load several areas to upload images. 5th go to the browse button located on one of the retangle boxes click that and it will bring open your files on your computer where all your photos are stored. 6th Select the folder that the image you want to upload is stored and then once you enter that file select the file you want to upload. 7th each image with go in a different box next to where it says browse, and you must hit browse to access the files you want to upload. 8th Once you have all the images in place you are ready to upload them to the image server, simply click submit and the upload process will begin, the bigger the images the longer it will take and the more memory you will waste so my advise to you is make the images small as possible that way you can get more images on and it won't take as long to upload 9th Once you have the images on the Photobucket image server you will notice that they will be three codes that are directly underneath your images. You will need the 3rd code or the bottom code the one that has this at the beginning and end Code: just simply copy and paste that code over to the post you are posting on here and it will bring that image up.
